Setup POP3 or IMAP on Android Mobile Device using Gmail

This tutorial explains how to setup your POP3 or IMAP account on your Android mobile device using the Gmail app.

1. From the application menu of your device select the Gmail app.

2. On the Welcome to Gmail page, select SKIP.

3. Select Add an email address.

4. In the Set up email section, select Other.

5. In the Add your email address section, enter your email address, then select NEXT.

6. Select the type of account (In this tutorial, we will be selecting POP3)

7. Enter Password, then select NEXT.

8. In the Incoming server settings section, enter your Username, Password, and the incoming sever address, then select NEXT.

9. In the Outgoing server settings, enter your Username, Password, and the SMTP server address, then select NEXT.

10. Enter your name, then select NEXT.

11. Select the added account.

12. You should now be signed in.
