How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in IceWarp Webmail

1️⃣ Select 2-Step Authentication

• Login to your IceWarp Webmail.
• Click your Account Profile icon in the top right corner.
• Select “2-Step Authentication is Disabled – Setup now”.

2️⃣ Choose the IceWarp Authenticator App

• On the 2-Step Authentication screen, choose “IceWarp Authenticator App”.

Note: You can select this option even if you plan to use Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Duo. They all work the same.

3️⃣ Select Your Phone Type

• Choose the type of phone you’re setting up:
  • iPhone
  • Android
• Click Next.

4️⃣ Download / Open Your Authenticator App

• If you don’t have an authenticator app, download one:
  • IceWarp Authenticator (App Store / Google Play)
  • OR use another app like Google Authenticator, Duo, or Microsoft Authenticator.
• Open the app and choose “Start Setup” or “Add Account”.
• Select the “Scan QR Code” option.
• Scan the QR Code displayed on your screen to link your account.

5️⃣ Enter the Code and Verify

• Your authenticator app will now generate a 6-digit code.
• Enter this code into the “Enter the code here” field.
• Enter your email account password.
• Click Verify.

6️⃣ Finish Setup

✅ Once verified, click Done to complete the setup.

Your 2-Step Authentication is now active! 🎉
